Why I Like the Onion

Well, The Onion makes good use of parody to make major social and political statements. Been a fan of the online magazine for years. Just read a piece off a Facebook post that had me laughing and also realizing how they're writers so often nail it. It's a joke about Youtube racist comments, and could be applied to the things I've had to hear in my family and the town I've spent most of my time in, my whole life.
